Plain language, no surprises: here’s what we collect and how we use it.
Effective date: September 13, 2026. The Gathering Place ("TGP," "we," "us") respects you and your information. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect through thegatheringplacemn.org and how we use it.
Information you choose to give us, such as your name and email address when you join our email list, or whatever you include when you email us. That’s it. Our website does not require an account and does not ask you to create a password.
Online giving, prayer requests, and sign-up forms are processed by Planning Center (Church Center) on their platform, and gifts may also be made through Stripe, Cash App, or Zelle. Your payment details go directly to those providers. We never see or store your card or bank numbers. Their privacy policies govern the information you share with them.
Our site is hosted by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service. Some pages include content from other services (YouTube videos, Google Maps, Google Fonts, and our Instagram feed), and those services may set cookies or collect usage data under their own privacy policies. We don’t run advertising or sell any data.
To respond when you reach out, to send you updates you asked for, and to run the ministry. That’s all. We never sell or rent your information. We share it only with the service providers named above (who process it on our behalf) or if the law requires it.
Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. You can also ask us to update or delete the information we hold about you anytime by emailing info@thegatheringplacemn.org.
Kids are always welcome at TGP, but our website is not designed to collect information from children under 13, and we don’t knowingly do so.
If we update this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date.
