We believe The Gathering Place is the space for you — and we can't wait to do life with you.
The Gathering Place was born out of a single step of obedience in May 2021, a small prayer and worship night that quietly grew into something none of us could have planned. People from across the Twin Cities began showing up, finding Jesus, discovering purpose, and building community in a space that felt different from anything they had experienced before. Freedom, healing, and the presence of God became our new normal and we knew there was more.
We exist for everyone who has ever felt like there had to be more, and there is! At TGP, we call it Zoe: the divine, resurrection life of Jesus Christ living and breathing within every believer. We believe that when people awaken to that truth, the divides that separate us lose their power, and something greater takes root. Our vision is to create space for everyone, everywhere to Gather in community, Grow in relationship with Jesus and each other, and Go share that with someone else.
Every week, in a rotating rhythm — around the table, in living rooms, live in worship, and at home in sabbath rest. Community isn't an event; it's a habit.

Get involved →We believe in one God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — and that the Bible is God’s inspired, infallible, authoritative Word. We believe Jesus is exactly who He said He is: born of a virgin, sinless, crucified for us, risen, seated with the Father, and coming back in power and glory.
And we believe the church isn’t a building — it’s a people, equipped and empowered to gather in real community, grow into purpose, and go carry Christ’s love to our city.
